The latest NAPLAN 2024 results show strong performance in literacy and numeracy, reflecting the school’s personalised learning approach that empowers students to thrive not only academically, but also in character and purpose.
Principal Michelle McKinnon said the success is the result of a shared vision and a consistent focus on student learning and wellbeing, all grounded in Catholic values.

Our Lady of Mt Carmel School is part of the Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) network, which educates almost 75,000 students across 147 primary and secondary schools.

In a recent independent analysis by Better Education, Our Lady of Mt Carmel School was ranked an impressive number 71 among Sydney’s Top 100 Primary Schools for 2025.
